Richard has worked in the business with his wife, Rachel, since 2007.  Based in the Chorley office, Richard supports the mortgage advisors and is responsible for maintaining Cheetham Jackson’s strict service standards. Richard spends his spare time with Rachel and their two children.  He loves to travel, particularly in Africa & Asia and is a season ticket holder at Newcastle United.

Rachel started work as a Mortgage Advisor in 1999 and set up her own firm, Aspect Mortgages, in 2004.  When Aspect Mortgages became Cheetham Jackson Mortgages in 2014 Rachel took on responsibility for building/maintaining client and introducer relationships.  Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, is an avid cook, loves walking with friends and regularly practices yoga.

Carly Skelding

Operations Manager

Carly started in the business as an Administrator before being promoted to Case Manager and then Operations Manager.  Carly keeps the business running smoothly, manages our life insurance cases and helps ensure that our service standards are met at all times.  In her spare time Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons – usually kicking a ball around or standing at the side of a football pitch.  She is a keen runner and has entered several local races.

Lisa Knowles

Mortgage & Protection Advisor

Lisa has worked as a Mortgage Advisor since 2016 and previous to that worked as an Estate Agent.  This has given her a keen knowledge of the property market and she uses this knowledge to ensure her clients receive the highest possible levels of service.  She loves spending time with her friends and family and her hobbies include travelling to new places, cooking and  renovating her house.

Neil has worked in financial services for over 20 years and joined Cheetham Jackson Mortgages in 2017.  He has a thorough knowledge of the financial world and enjoys being out and about, spending time with his clients and introducers.  When not at work he enjoys time with his family, has a love of DIY and is a long-standing season ticket holder at Everton FC.

Sue Slack

Mortgage & Protection Advisor

Sue began working in the financial sector in 2002 as a Mortgage Administrator. This role allowed her to build a good in-depth knowledge of mortgage processes, before becoming a fully qualified Mortgage advisor in 2006. Since then she has continued to work within the mortgage sector both for Financial Advisors and in an Estate Agency setting before making the move to Cheetham Jackson Mortgages. Her main focus is helping people with one of the most important transactions they are likely to make, in a professional but friendly manner.

After working as a Project Engineer for United Utilities for 15 years, then taking a 5-year career break to raise her family, Michelle embarked on her second career in the property industry in 2010. In 2013 she qualified as a Mortgage Advisor and joined Cheetham Jackson Mortgages.

She rebuilt her own house from the ground up in 2009 and is currently refurbishing a derelict Victorian house. She likes to travel and plans to do more of that once her kids fly the nest. Yellowstone National Park next on the list.

Molly Wareham

Mortgage Administrator

Molly started her career in financial services in 2016 and joined us in 2019 as our Administrator.  She works with the Mortgage Advisors to ensure that clients’ cases move smoothly from application to completion.  In her spare time Molly enjoys walking and taking her son on days out.
